Itinerary

Meet the tour leader at the Malta International Airport for check-in on your direct flight to Poland departing at 06:30 hrs. Upon arrival, your private coach will take you to Krakow’s Outlet Village, a mall that features 120 foreign and domestic brands. Later continue your way towards Zakopane: Poland’s best-known mountain resort. Upon arrival, check in and room allocation will be followed by dinner (optional) and overnight.

After breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader and a local English-speaking local guide for an excursion to Zakopane and its surroundings. Nestled in the foothills of the Tatras mountains, Zakopane is Poland’s bestknown mountain resort. Visit Chocholow, a village comprised almost exclusively of heritage Polish wooden houses. You will also have the opportunity to visit the sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Krzeptowki, a place closely related to Saint John Paul II. Later head back to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today after breakfast, join your tour leader, and an English-speaking local guide for an optional short excursion towards Mount Gubalowka. Located just outside Zakopane’s city center, this mountain offers commanding view of the Tatras Mountains. Later head back to town for some free time in the city’s main walking street: Krupowki Street. Brick and stone buildings line the cobblestone street, giving the area a rustic, welcoming feel. Browse through shops on the street level for crafts, gifts, and essentials, or sample food at a local eatery. It is the prime place to go for a hot beverage after a day on the slopes. Consider hiring a horse-drawn carriage to tour the street with a backdrop of the Tatra Mountains.

Today, after breakfast, enjoy your surroundings in your free day. Enjoy the traditional Polish friendliness in the hotel or head towards Terma Bania a modern water park complex with indoor & outdoor thermal pools, plus saunas, steam rooms & spa. You may also opt to visit the Bania Ski and Fun area. This is the ideal ski centre for people who start their adventure with skiing or snowboarding. A day full of great fun and relaxation for all ages. Later head back to the hotel to join the rest of the group for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today, after breakfast join the tour leader for a FREE excursion to Krakow. Wawel Castle is a major drawcard, while the Old Town contains soaring churches, impressive museums and the vast Rynek Główny, Europe’s largest market square. Throughout the Old Town are hundreds of restaurants, bars and clubs. During your free time, walk through the Old Town, and you might be overwhelmed by the harmony of a quiet backstreet, the ‘just so’ nature of the architecture and light. Later re-join the group for your private transfer towards the airport in time for your flight check in back to Malta.
