Itinerary

Meet the tour leader at 16:00hrs for check in on your direct Czech Airline flight to Prague departing at 18:05hrs. Upon arrival, your private coach will head towards your centrally located 3* hotel in Prague for check in, room allocation and overnight.

After breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader for an optional day excursion to the city you will be calling home for the next couple of days: Prague Enjoy this pretty city with a local licensed English-speaking guide whilst visiting the famous Wenceslas Square and the 516-meter-long Charles Bridge amongst other numerous sites. Later head back to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Soon after breakfast, we offer you a marvelous optional day excursion to the German city of Dresden. Dresden, heavily bombed during World War II, is now a modern city with numerous attractions. Ample time for shopping and sightseeing will be allocated. Return to Prague in time for dinner (optional) and overnight

After breakfast, join the tour leader on a day excursion to Karlovy Vary. The city was founded in the 14th century by Charles IV, and took its name from the same emperor. In fact, the city was built after the accidental discovery of a number of thermal springs by his hunting entourage. During your free time don’t miss out the ‘lazenske oplatky’ commonly known as the tastiest waffles in the Czech Republic or buy a famous pink porcelain cup and drink from one of the hot springs, said to have curative properties. In the late afternoon return to Prague for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today, after breakfast, we offer you another spectacular optional day excursion to Konopiste and Pilsen. Your first stop will be at Konopiste Castle famous as the last residence of Franz Ferdinand of Austria, whose assassination in Sarajevo triggered World War I. The bullet that killed him is now exhibited at the castle museum (entrance extra). You then proceed to Pilsen, the Bohemian city which is known as the birthplace of the Pilsen beer style in general. Here one can visit the Saint Bartholomew Gothic church or enjoy a stroll along the beautiful historic centre with numerous cafeterias and restaurants to choose from. You can also enjoy the original Pilsner Urquell beer (extra) directly from source. In the late afternoon return to the hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.

After breakfast, join your fellow group members for an excursion to the city of Kutna Hora. The city of Kutna Hora, and more specifically its historic centre was included in the UNESCO World site list in 1995 thanks to its historical importance and architectural gems. One such gem is the Cathedral of Saint Barbara (entrance extra). After free time for lunch, you will than continue your way to Cesky Stemberk Castle, (entrance extra) towering over the small village with the same name, and the Sazava River. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

After breakfast, we offer you an optional excursion to the city of Cesky Krumlov, guarded by the huge Renaissance style castle (entrance extra). Cesky Krumlov is considered to be Bohemia’s most beautiful town, and the superbly preserved old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers numerous examples of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Soon after your breakfast and checkout, your private coach will head towards Prague’s airport in time for check in of your return direct flight to Malta departing at 14:50hrs.
