Today, after breakfast, join the tour leader for a day excursion to the beautiful city of Krakow. Start your day by visiting the Kazimierz district together with our English-speaking guide. This former Jewish quarter with its old Synagogue (entrance included) reflect the tragedy this city had to endure during the 20th century. Later head towards Europe’s largest market square in Krakow’s old city centre. Immerse yourself in its grandeur and beauty, whilst having the opportunity to visit the Royal chambers, the Royal Cathedral (entrance included), the Bishop’s Palace, Wawel Hill and the twin-spired St. Mary’s
After breakfast, a full day optional excursion to Zakopane awaits you. Zakopane: a spectacular mountain paradise that boast numerous attractions, breath-taking views, highland cultural heritage and unique architecture - all framed by the stunning Tatra Mountains.
Today, after your daily buffet breakfast, enjoy yourself during today’s free time by re-visiting central Krakow (within walking distance). Have a beer or coffee, in one of the many restaurants or revisit one of the attractions that you loved on Sunday.
Today, a full day optional excursion awaits you: two of the most important and beautiful attractions combined in one day. Start your day by visiting the Lagiewniki district of Krakow, where the world-renowned Divine Mercy Sanctuary is situated. At the very heart of such sanctuary, lies the chapel where the miraculous image of Merciful Jesus and the tomb of Sister Faustina are to be found. Later head towards Oscar Schindler’s Factory. This factory turned museum, gathered immense notoriety after the 1993 American epic historical period drama film by Steven Spielberg. You will also have time to visit the Eagle’s Pharmacy
After breakfast, join your fellow group members for your private coach transfer towards the Wieliczka Salt Mines (entrance included). These mines include magnificent chambers chiseled out in rock salt, amazing underground saline lakes, majestic timber constructions and unique statues sculpted in salt. It is no surprise that this is one of the most popular attractions in the whole of Poland. Soon afterwards, return to central Krakow for some free time in Krakow’s biggest shopping Mall the Galeria Krakowska.
Join your fellow group members for an optional excursion to Kalwaria Zebrydowska and Wadowice. In 1999 Kalwaria Zebrzydowska was added to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites. The original hilltop church north of the centre was gradually enlarged and today is the massive Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels. Later continue your way to Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyła better known to the world as Pope John Paul II. People come to walk the pretty cobblestones, pay their respects to the Wojtyła family home (entrance included) and maybe most importantly, have a slice of the town’s legendary cream cake, kremowka.
