Meet the tour leader (Mr. Edward Spiteri) at 10:30 hrs at the Malta International Airport for your direct Air Malta flight to Lisbon, Portugal departing at 12:20 hrs. Upon arrival, your private coach will head towards your 4 * centrally located hotel for check in and room allocation. Soon afterwards you may want to re-join the group for your welcome buffet dinner (optional) before overnight.

Today, after breakfast join your tour leader, and the local licensed English-speaking guide for a full day excursion to Fatima and all of its facades. Head towards the Chapel of the Apparitions also knows as the Capelinha, the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima and the tombs of the children amongst other places of interest. You will also have the chance to visit the Sanctuary of the Holy Miracle in Santarem. Later head back to your hotel for dinner (optional) before overnight

After your daily buffet breakfast, join your fellow group members for a full day excursion to the region west of Fatima towards the Atlantic Ocean shore. Start your day together with the local licensed English-speaking guide towards Batalha for a chance to visit the abbey where solid rock has been carved into forms as delicate as snowflakes and as pliable as twisted rope. Then continue your way towards Alcobabca for a chance to visit the famous monastery before continuing your way towards Nazare with its narrow-cobbled lanes running down to a wide, cliff-backed beach. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today, join your tour leader for a full day excursion to the second largest Portuguese city: Porto, also known as ‘Invicta’. Start your day by driving towards the city and visit the Avenue of Aliados and the train station of Sao Bento with its admirable and traditional white and blue tiles. Enjoy a coffee (extra) in the Majestic Café, one of Europe’s oldest cafes and then continue towards the district of Ribeira, declared a World heritage site by UNESCO. Together with the group you will also have the opportunity to visit the Stock Exchange palace. Later you can also have the chance to enjoy yourself together with your fellow group members on a mini cruise on the river Douro (extra). Return to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight

After breakfast and checkout, head towards Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city. Built on seven hillsides overlooking the Tagus River, Lisbon’s postcard-perfect panorama of cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals will await your discovery. You will also have the opportunity to visit the monument dedicated to Henry the Navigator, the Belem Tower and also visit Alfama, the place where Saint Anthony was born. Later head towards Lisbon’s airport for your flight back to Malta departing at 2145hrs

The 1916 apparition of the Angel of Peace is recreated at the place where it happened, just outside the children’s home village of Aljustrel.
