Meet the tour leader at the Malta International Airport at 11:00 hrs for check-in of your direct Airmalta flight to Milan Linate airport departing at 12:55 hrs. Upon arrival at 14:50 hrs, your private coach will transfer you to your 3* hotel in Predazzo, a village immersed in the scenery around it. After check in, and room allocation you can join the tour leader for a short walking orientation tour of the area, before returning to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.
Today, after breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader for a full day optional excursion to the heart of the Dolomites mountain range. Start your day by driving towards Canazei, a city within the Trentino-Alto Adige region and located within the well know Val di Fassa valley. Afterwards proceed to Passo Pordoi. The pass is at an altitude of 2239m, thus making it the second highest surfaced road traversing the Dolomites. In your free time, you may join your fellow group members and enjoy a four minute cable car ride (extra) that takes you to a height of 2950m from which a spectacular
view of the Dolomites emerges in front of your eyes. You will then head to Ortisei; the picturesque capital of Val Gardena, famous for its ornate woodcarvings and the lovely pedestrian area with great shops and cafes. Later head to Lake Carezza, considered as the most beautiful lake of the Dolomites before returning to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight
Today we offer you an optional full day excursion to Lake Garda. You will start your day by visiting the Riva del Garda. Later head to Malcesine: a small town on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in northern Italy. It’s a picturesque tourist resort with cobbled lanes and a castle, crammed between the blue lake waters and the massive mountain ridge behind, Monte Baldo. In the summer months Malcesine is a hive of innocent hedonism, packed with pottering holidaymakers gorging on ice cream and sunseekers draped along the lake shore. Later make your way to Sirmione known to everyone as ‘The pearl of the islands and peninsulas’. Sirmione is famous for its thermal water and its healing properties. Return to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.
Today after breakfast you may join the tour leader for a marvellous optional day excursion to Bolzano and Merano. Start your trip by visiting Bolzano, the largest town of the Italian Sud-Tyrol and its archaeology museum famous worldwide as the home of the alpine iceman Otzi (entrance extra). Free time for lunch (extra), and sightseeing at your own leisure. You will then proceed to the nearby Merano, with its delightfully mild climate, lovely surroundings and rich varied vegetation where you can admire some of its 52 romantic old castles in and around the town. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight
Today, after breakfast, we offer you a marvellous optional day excursion to Innsbruck in nearby Austria. Drive towards the Brennero pass on the international border with Austria before reaching Innsbruck. Known as Tyrol’s capital, is in many ways Austria in microcosm: its late medieval Altstadt is picture-book stuff, presided over by a grand Habsburg palace and baroque cathedral. You can have lunch (extra), or enjoy a stroll in the pedestrianised Maria-Theresien Strasse, the most famous street in Innsbruck. At one end of such street one can find Innsbruck’s world famous attraction: the Golden Roof. You shall have ample time for shopping, in one of the many shopping complexes within the area. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.
After breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader for an
optional full day excursion to Gardaland and the Sea Life Aquarium (entrances included). Within Italy’s largest theme park, you can find countless attractions for visitors of all ages, including numerous entertaining shows. (In order to prolong your stay in Gardaland Park as much as possible, we will be excluding dinner today). Return late to your hotel for overnight
After late breakfast, and room check out, you will start your way back to Malta, through Milan’s Linate Airport. Flight leaves Milan at 1540hrs, and is expected to be back in Malta at 1735hrs
