Itinerary

Meet the tour leader at 05:00 hrs check-in on you Airmalta flight to Vienna departing at 07:15 hrs. Upon arrival, your private coach will start its way towards your hotel in neighboring Slovakia, but not before a stop at Vienna’s Schonbrunn Palace. This opulent summer palace is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and provides a popular recreational amenity for the Viennese population as well as being a focus of great cultural and historical interest for international visitors. You can join one of the many tour options of the palace (extra), or enjoy yourself in this vast garden complex. Later re-join the group for your onward transfer to your hotel for check-in and room allocation. Dinner (optional) and overnight will follow.

After your buffet breakfast, join the tour leader for an excursion to Bratislava: the city that you will be calling home for the next few days. Due to its position at the border with Hungary and Austria, Bratislava was since the 11th century an important trade city and for some time it also served as the capital of Hungary. Under the guidance of a local English-speaking guide, visit the charmful historic city centre for a familiarisation walk and then head to Bratislava’s castle, (entrance extra) directly above the Danube River in the middle of Bratislava. Later head to the UFO Bridge and its adjoining viewing platform for a fantastic photo opportunity. During your free time you can head to the Eurovea or Aupark shopping complex for some great bargains before returning to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight

After breakfast, join the group for a marvelous day excursion to the capital city of Hungary: Budapest. Knows as the ‘Pearl of the Danube’, Hungary’s most populated city is bisected by the River Danube and its 19th century Chain Bridge which connect the hilly Buda district with the flat Pest. With the assistance of your local English-speaking guide, you will have the opportunity to visit numerous places of interest like the Royal Castle (entrance extra), located on Castle hill, the Fisherman’s bastions and St. Matyas church. Budapest has something for everyone and you will definitely find it hard to explore it within this day excursion. Ample free time will also be given for shopping and for personal recreational time. Later head back to your hotel for the evening’s (optional) dinner and overnight.

Today, you definitely do not want to miss the excursion to the Small Carpathian Wine Route. The wine route leads through picturesque small towns and villages in the mountainous region of the Carpathian Mountains located between Bratislava and Trnava. You will start the day by visiting a ceramic workshop, where the production of the hand thrown Majolica ceramics is still made in the traditional way to the very day. In the late morning you will continue your way towards the 13th century Cerveny Kamen Castle. This castle also knows as the Red Stone castle is one of Slovakia’s most beautiful and well-preserved Renaissance/Baroque castle with the largest wine cellars in Central Europe. You are encouraged to join the wine tasting in the cellars (included), before lunch in the same cellar. Return to your hotel in the evening in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today, we offer you yet another spectacular day excursion to the Burgenland region in eastern Austria. Together with your tour leader, visit Einstadt, the provincial capital of this Austrian region. Walk though the town where you may visit the Church of Calvary which contains the tomb of the famous composer, Hayden. Later make your way towards the Parndrof Fashion Outlet village for a shopping spree of a lifetime, before your return transfer to the hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today, you will visit yet another country: an excursion to Brno in the Czech Republic. Start your day by driving to Mikulov, a border town between the Czech Republic and Austria. Mikulov is arguably the most attractive of the southern Moravian wine towns, surrounded by white, chalky hills and adorned with an amazing hilltop Renaissance chateau, visible for kilometres around. Enjoy your time in such surroundings often referred to as a ‘piece of Italy moved to Moravia by God's hand'. Then, continue your way to the second largest city in the Czech Republic which was founded some 1000 years ago and today represents a modern yet historic city in a beautiful natural environment. Later return to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Today, after breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader for a full day to Vienna. The cultural, political and economic capital is one of the most popular cities in the world, with millions of visitors each year. Have fun in such marvellous city and admire its past and present, but not before a visit to the former gypsum mine – the Seegrotte (entrance included). This historical and gigantic underground mine, was during the infamous World War II used to manufacture aircraft for the 3rd Reich. Later enjoy the last few hours of this marvellous holiday at Prater, the oldest amusement park in Europe (entrance free – rides at an extra cost), before returning back to the hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight

After breakfast and checkout, your private coach will transfer you to Vienna’s airport for your flight back departing at 1040hrs, but not before realising that the decision you took upon booking was one of your best ever.
