Itinerary

Meet the tour leader at Malta International Airport to check in for your Lufthansa flight to Vancouver, Canada with transit. Upon arrival at Vancouver airport, a coach will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for check in and room allocation. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to get a taste of the local flavour.

After breakfast, depart for an optional full day sightseeing tour of Vancouver and the North Shore. Begin with a transfer over the Lions Gate Bridge, built in 1938; this bridge links the North Shore to Vancouver’s Stanley Park. Highlights include the Capilano Suspension Bridge (admission included), the longest and highest suspended footbridge in the world spanning 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano Canyon! Continue your tour to Grouse Mountain for a ride aboard the Grouse Mountain Skyride (admission included). As the tramway whisks you from the valley floor, enjoy spectacular panoramas of land, sea and city views from magnificent rugged landscapes. Return to Vancouver over the Lions Gate Bridge and tour to the 1000-acre Stanley Park. Also included in your tour today are Coal Harbour, Chinatown and Gastown

Enjoy today’s optional nature-filled day excursion. All the while, the fjord stretches out to your left, with a backdrop of forested islands and snow-capped peaks. You will drive through the pastoral growing town of Squamish and begin the “to Sky” portion of your journey. The road follows the Cheakamus river, first cresting high above the river and offering views of glaciers on the peaks of the Tantalus mountains, then plunging low into a river canyon. From here, it is a slow climb to 2000 feet above sea-level and the Whistler Valley. Enjoy some hours here on your own to grab a bite to eat and explore this mountain ski village. Along your way back to Vancouver a stop will be made to see and feel nature’s power at Shannon Falls. Shannon Falls is the third highest waterfall in the province at just under 1100 feet.

After breakfast, we offer you a wonderful optional sightseeing tour of Victoria, the capital city of the province of British Columbia where you will visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens or the lush and exotic Butterfly Gardens and see how Victoria earned the nickname “The City of Gardens.”. With over 50 acres of gardens including the fragrant Rose Garden, the relaxing Japanese Garden, the unique Sunken Garden, the Italian Garden, the Concert Lawn, and Ross Fountain - just to name a few, a visit to Butchart Gardens is a treat for all your senses! Continue to Victoria where additional sightseeing highlights include the exclusive residential areas of Oak Bay and Uplands, Marine Drive, Beacon Hill Park, and the B.C. Parliament Buildings. Enjoy the heart of Victoria, strolling Victoria’s Inner Harbour and Olde Town districts. A little free time to explore the shops and attractions around the Inner Harbour, before heading back to your hotel.

Breakfast and last hours of exploring Vancouver before your coach will take you to the port to check in and embark on the Royal Caribbean, Serenade of the Seas. With incredible dining, fantastic entertainment, action-packed activities and acres of glass offering stunning ocean views, a holiday onboard Serenade of the Seas is all your holiday wishes come true – and a few that you never even imagined!

Today you will be cruising the Inside Passage, one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the entire world. It features virtually everything you came to Alaska hoping to see, including rain forests, glaciers, fjords and white-capped peaks. All of which create a setting that’s perfect for viewing whales and sea lions.

You’ve never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’, Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world’s largest collection of totem poles. If you’re up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you’ll long remember.

Here’s your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure in Alaska’s capital, where cultured sophistication meets the ruggedness of the Last Frontier. Juneau, the capital of Alaska was founded during a gold rush in 1880. Today, the former gold-mining town counts among its riches some of Alaska’s most spectacular scenery. Nestled at the foot of Mt. Juneau in the Alaska Panhandle, it faces the water from the mainland side of Gastineau Channel. Several magnificent fjords are located along the channel coast and the majestic Mendenhall Glacier, a favourite of visitors, is nearby.

The great Klondike Rush lives on in Skagway’s charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers traveled on foot. Or else for the more adventurous take a hike in one of the parks or do some kayaking or zip lining.

Tracy Arm Fjord extends over 30 miles alongside the wilderness of Tongass National Forest. Sailing through this deep and narrow passage delivers some of the most breathtaking scenery you’ll find in Alaska. See active glaciers carved into 7,000-foot-tall mountain peaks and plunging waterfalls burrowed into evergreen-clad cliffs. Glimpse native wildlife and watch deep blue icebergs float past the ship.

Whilst enjoying your time at sea, you have the opportunity to exploit at best the ship’s facilities. Enjoy endless entertainment options from sensational shows to some tranquil time in the library. In the evening, you will be instructed by the ship’s crew to leave your luggage outside your stateroom by midnight, since these will be transported to the terminal early in the morning.

Your amazing adventure has come to an end, but the memories will remain with you forever. After breakfast, you will disembark the ship and be transferred to Vancouver airport to check in for your return flight to Malta (with transit).

You will arrive in Malta.
