Meet the tour leader at Malta International Airport at 05:15 a.m. for check in on Air Malta flight to London departing at 07:20 hrs. On arrival, transfer to the port of Southampton where you shall board the Independence of the Seas by Royal Caribbean. The ship set sails at 16:30 hrs.
The first day shall be spent cruising to explore the numerous amenities and activities offered on board. We recommend you to join our optional excursion visiting this city, also known as Lisboa to the native Portuguese. You shall visit the Belém District famous for its landmark tower on the bank of the Tagus River, from where explorers embarked on their voyages of discovery. Visit the Jeronimos Church, a 16th century architectural masterpiece designed in Gothic Manueline style. Your tour continues past statue of Pombal, Avenida de Liberdade to Rossio, the heart of Lisbon’s downtown. Explore Alfama, the oldest part of Lisbon, for a quick walk through its cobbled labyrinth of narrow twisting alleys honeycombed with steps and archways.

With two beautiful bays, waterfront promenade and lively ambiance, La Coruña is a popular vacation spot in Galicia. From here we will offer you an optional guided half day excursion to the medieval capital of Santiago de Compostela, discovering its spiritual landmarks. You will enjoy an exterior visit of the beloved Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, bustling plazas. See the Portico de la Gloria as well as the urn that contains the ashes of Saint James and then enjoy a guided walking tour through Plaza del Obradoiro, the real heart of the town.
Don’t miss out to shop for some variety name brand and duty free shopping. In the evening, you will be instructed to leave your luggage outside your stateroom as bags are transported ashore by Royal Caribbean personnel early next morning.
Ship docks in Southampton at 05:30 hrs. Enjoy your last breakfast onboard the Independence of the Seas. A private coach will take you to London Gatwick Airport to check in for your Air Malta flight. Expected time of arrival in Malta will be at 16:00 hrs.
