Meet tour leader at Malta International Airport to check in for your Emirates flight EK110 departing at 14:55hrs and arriving in Dubai at 01:25hrs with a brief echnical stop in Larnaca.

Proceed to your next gate to embark on flight EK 318 departing at 02:55 hrs and arriving at Tokyo Narita International Airport at 17:20 hrs. Upon arrival you shall be transferred to your hotel for room allocation. After room check-in, we suggest that you join the tour leader for a familiarization walk around the area

Japan – The land of the Rising Sun, enhance your sightseeing experience of Tokyo on an enriching half day excursion around the city. This cosmopolitan cityblends the old and the new, and Japanese and western cultures. There are shopping districts, high-end hotels and a renowned Chinatown. Especially, Minato Mirai 21 has lots of large shopping malls. The west side of Yokohama has all kinds of entertainment, music, fashion and of course electronic shops. After a half day full of sightseeing, you will head to the cruise terminal in order to check in and embark the beautiful Celebrity Millennium.

Beauty comes in many forms. A waterfront with views of Mt. Fuji, this entryway to the sea is lined with museums and entertainment facilities that present the richness of the past, present and future. Join our half-day tour to discover more. You will visit a shogun-built ancient shrine, majestic waterfall, and stunning seaside pine grove whose vistas have stirred poets and artists for centuries. Learn about the gentle female deity behind Hongu Sengen Taisha, built in 806 AD. Then meet the magnificent Shiraito Waterfall. Watch water cascading some 65 feet like threads of silk. End with equally stunning Miho Matsubara, the ancient pine grove famous for its mountain vistas, and gnarled trees.

Kobe is the city on the north shore of Osaka Bay in central Japan, known for its signature marbled beef and scenic setting of mountains framing the harbor. You will be arriving around 11:00 hrs and will have the rest of the day to discover this beautiful place, since the ship will overnight in Kobe. It is a must to take a visit to the Port Tower, completed in 1963, the 354-foot-tall, red steel-latticework tower has become the city’s most iconic landmark.

On your second day in Kobe, join our optional excursion to discover the highlights of Osaka. When it comes to history, Osaka has one of the most fascinating ones of all. See the best of Osaka and learn about its rich past. First, visit the stunning Osaka Castle, built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a well-known warlord who ruled the country in the late 16th century. Then, it’s on to the revered Sumiyoshi Taisha, the guardian deity for sailors and deity to bring prosperity. See Osaka and all its wonder and glory. The ship will depart from Kobe at 18:00hrs.

On your first sea day, you will have the opportunity to discover and make use of the varied facilities on board. Join the aerobics class with qualified instructors or simply relax by the pool. Kagoshima is the southernmost city on Japan’s bullet train network, often compared with its Italian sister city, Naples, due to a similarly mild climate, streets lined with palm trees, and Sakurajima, Kagoshima’s version of Vesuvius. Explore Kagoshima by joining our panoramic excursion through the city, including a visit to the lovely Shiroyama Scenic Observation Point, and Shōchū Brewery. Enjoy a relaxing coach ride past Kagoshima’s iconic sights. See downtown Kagoshima and view the statue of the famous samurai, Saigō Takamori. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive past the Bund, once the financial hub of colonial Shanghai. Visit Jin Mao Tower, which at 88 stories tall, is the tallest building in China. Cross the Nanpu Bridge and pass from the French Concession to Peoples Square, where you can take a short stroll or watch local life.

Step onto the Observatory Deck to find 360º views of bustling Taipei as far as the eye can see. Head back down for an entirely different perspective of local culture. Visit the Lungshan Temple, built nearly three centuries ago and dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Today you have a day at leisure in Taipei, to discover this culturally diverse and commercially influential city which promises to be a highlight of any Asian cruise vacation. Its futuristic city-scape is dotted with tranquil parks and green spaces, where you’ll often find locals practicing the art of Tai Chi. Cuisine plays a central role in Taiwanese culture, so be sure to visit a relaxing tea house, or sample some local delicacies at a lively market. Make the most of your second day in Taipei, before the ship will depart the port at 16:00 hrs.

Kaohsiung is Taiwan’s largest port and the country’s second largest city; it’s therefore hardly surprising that there are so many things to see and do during a visit here. Massive pavilions, a golden-roof temple, and a once Dutch-occupied center are all part of this impressive half-day city tour. At your first stop,the god of war, Kuan Kung is honored by the massive Spring and Autumn Pavilions. Next, see Chiming Tang Temple’s beautiful color images, sculptures, and golden roof. You’ll enjoy Chijin Old Street, Kaohsiung’s first developed area, once Dutch-occupied in 1642.
