Itinerary

Meet tour leader at Malta International Airport to check in for our Emirates flight EK110 departing at 1530hrs and arriving in Dubai at 0100hrs (next day) with a brief technical stop in Larnaca.

Proceed to our next gate to embark on flight EK302 departing at 0250hrs and arriving at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai at 1530hrs. Upon arrival you shall be transferred to your hotel for room allocation. After room check-in, we suggest that you join the tour leader for a familiarisation walk around the area and overnight.

Enhance your sightseeing experience of Shanghai on an enriching optional full-day excursion around the city. See all of the city’s spectacular sights with a knowledgeable guide as you tour a selection of historical highlights; absorb the sacred majesty of the Jade Buddha Temple; immerse yourself in the city’s rich heritage at the Shanghai Museum; and stroll amid the botanical beauty of the Yuyuan Garden. Overnight at the hotel.

After a relaxing morning for some personal sightseeing your coach will take you to Shanghai cruise port to embark for check in on the Celebrity Millennium. Your adventure begins as soon as you embark on the Celebrity Millennium, taking you to places you have only dreamed of, allowing you to explore spectacular ports of call.

Two relaxing days at sea. This gives you the opportunity to make use of the varied facilities on board. Join the aerobics class with qualified instructors or simply relax by the pool. The ship’s animators will be organizing varied activities by the pool deck and other. Every evening at sea sparkles with dazzling entertainment. Designed to indulge your individual preferences, Celebrity entertainment choices range from Broadway-style productions, captivating shows and lively discotheques to the glamour and excitement of Monte Carlo-style casinos and specialty lounges.

Tianjin’s old city retains some of the architecture and flavors from its days as a foreign concession port. A gateway to Beijing, the fast-modernizing metropolis is also home to historic temples and forts and a famous antiques market. Visit The Great Wall, the only man-made structure that can be seen from the moon. Walk to the Juyongguan Section of the Great Wall. The scenery is nothing short of spectacular. This portion of the wall snakes along the crest of the mountains, affording incredible iconic views of the valley and the wall itself.

The Forbidden City is definitely one of the highlights when one visits the Tianjin/Beijing area. Once serving as the Chinese Imperial Palace, the complex dates back to the Ming Dynasty. Today, you can walk the once forbidden streets and marvel at some of the oldest standing wooden structures in the world. Next, you can enjoy a Hutong tour by traditional rickshaw.

Prepare to be awe-struck and see the best of beautiful Tianjin, the second largest city in northern coastal China. Visit Ancient Cultural Street, famous for its special architectural styles, folk crafts, and delicious local Tianjin snacks. Then, head off to Confucius Temple, the most well-preserved and largest ancient building complex in Tianjin. Indulge in a scrumptious Chinese lunch at a local restaurant and explore Shi Family Grand Courtyard before returning to the ship in time to sail at 1800hrs.

Today shall be another day at sea and so another day to relax and unwind! Sun worshippers may lay down on a sun-bed or deck chair by the pool lapping in the sun. And what about pleasing your taste buds! Dining is about more than just food. Think ambience, variety and the flexibility to decide when and what you savor.

Discover Seoul’s soul amid traditional markets, gardens and ethnic districts that showcase some of its foods, indulgences and history. The fish market offers the ocean’s choice harvests in its hundreds of restaurants, while Womido Traditional Garden honors nature’s beauty and tranquility. Chinatown was once a major hub before the Korean War and ensuing regulations. Exotic Shinpo Market, an avenue of vendors, is an incredible kaleidoscope of goods, fragrances, foods, sights and sounds in which to indulge.

Noted for its beauty, Jeju Island boasts some of the worlds most renowned beaches, waterfalls, and gardens, making it a favorite for travelers. Find out why the Mysterious Road is so mysterious. Visit Yomiji Botanical Garden and learn about its rich variety of flora and fauna. Visit the spectacular waterfalls and prepare to be blown away with the beauty of the cliffs. A visit to Yakcheon Temple is a must.

Cruising in Style, while relaxing at sea. Live modern luxury, experience the many culinary spots available on board, pamper yourself at the spa or just get lost in an intriguing story from one of the books you can borrow from the library

At Kobe it’s a must to take a visit to the Port Tower. It was completed in 1963, the 354-foot-tall, red- steel-latticework tower has become the city’s most iconic landmark. For incredible 360-degree views over Kobe, a trip to the upper deck can’t be beat. Have a fear of heights? Stay grounded and watch the skyscraper’s lights flicker against the night time sky.

Everything you ever wanted to know about the fermented rice wine can be learned at the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, located in a former brew house in the Nada district, a neighbourhood famous for its sake breweries. After you’re educated on the sake production process, sample the beverage at both warm and cold temperatures, then wander over to the gift shop to pick up bottles of your favourites.

The echo of foreign lands rides in on the pounding of the sea. A waterfront with views of Mt. Fuji, this entryway to the sea is lined with museums and entertainment facilities that present the richness of the past, present and future. Many luxury sailing vessels visit the Port of Shimizu. From here, visitors can take a ferry across the bay to Toi on the western shores of the Izu Peninsula, with Mt. Fuji to the north providing a feast for the eyes.

This cosmopolitan city blends the old and the new, and Japanese and western cultures. Within walking distance from the cruise terminal, there are shopping districts, high-end hotels and a renowned Chinatown. Especially, Minato Mirai 21 has lots of large shopping malls. The west side of Yokohama has all kinds of entertainment, music, fashion and of course electronic shops. Alternatively you may wish to enjoy some time at Sankeien Garden, the vast genuine Japanese garden with an area of 180,000 square metres.

Enjoy your last breakfast on board followed by disembarkation. Since our flight is in the evening we suggest you to join the optional excursion to the city of Kamakura and get a taste of the beautiful landscapes and serene religious monuments outside. Enjoy this tour and gaze at the city’s Great Buddha and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine. Sip green tea while overlooking a rock garden and enjoy a Japanese lunch (not included) before your transfer back to the airport for Emirates flight to Dubai departing at approximately 2200hrs.

Your arrival in Dubai airport will be at 0340hrs. You will remain in transit for your next flight back to Malta departing at approximately 0750hrs. Your expected time of arrival is at 1325hrs.
