Meet the Tour Leader at Malta International Airport at 05:45 hrs for check-In on Air Malta flight departing at 07:40 hrs. After arrival in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport you will be transferred to Amsterdam Cruise Port for check-in formalities to board Brilliance of the Seas. Once on board and assigned to your cabin, you are free to explore the facilities and décor of this magnificent floating resort. Get ready for the usual safety drill on board and then make sure you go on the upper deck to enjoy the sail away party as your ship leaves Amsterdam at 17:00 hrs.
Welcome on your first Cruise Day onboard the beautiful Brilliance of the Seas. Relax and make use of the varied facilities on board. Join the aerobics class with qualified instructors or simply relax by the pool. The ship’s animators will be organizing varied activities by the pool deck and other lounges (kindly consult your ship’s daily program for timings).

Join today’s optional excursion to explore this splendid city, which has been the capital city of the kingdom of Denmark since 1417. This excursion is an ideal introduction to the city as you shall see the main highlights of Copenhagen. You’ll stop at the Little Mermaid, the symbolic bronze and granite statue that has enchanted visitors for a century, and at the Queen’s palace, Amalienborg, patrolled by the Danish Royal Guard. You’ll also catch a view of Tivoli Gardens, which delights both young and old, as well as other popular landmarks.
Today shall be another day at sea and so another day to relax and unwind! Sun worshippers may lay down on a sun-bed or deck chair by the pool lapping in the sun. As cruising is also a great family vacation the ship’s animation team offer special programmes for all our ‘sailors’, whatever their age – from toddlers till teenagers! Stone walls circle its preserved Old Town, where the Estonian parliament meets in a 13th-century castle whose hilltop location offers the best views. After a relaxing breakfast, we suggest you to join our optional half day excursion where you have the possibility to explore the heart of the city including Toompea Castle, now home for the Estonian Parliament and the lovely Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevski Cathedral passing through various medieval cobbled streets.
This morning you arrive in St. Petersburg, surely one of the highlights of this cruise! The ship shall berth in this wonderful city overnight and shall depart tomorrow evening. (Important note – All clients who wish to disembark and explore the city on their own, must obtain an entry visa for Russia from the Russian Embassy). Join our optional day excursion to explore the culture and grandeur of this historic city built by the Tsars. Elegant façades, glorious cathedrals and grand residences were built along the city’s canals. The Hermitage Museum (incl. entr.) is one of the world’s greatest treasures and features more than 3 million exhibits. The bulk of the collection is housed in the impressive Winter Palace, the former home of the Tsars and one of the focal points of the 1917 revolution. Stroll along Nevsky Prospekt, the city’s main street for shopping and restaurants. Across the Neva River one finds the Peter and Paul Fortress, one of the first buildings constructed in the city.
Another incredible full day in St. Petersburg! After breakfast you may wish to join another optional day excursion visiting Petrodvorets (Peterhof), the town of palaces, fountains and parks which was the most brilliant of all the summer residences of the Russian Tsars. It was conceived by Peter the Great to rival Versailles in splendour and indeed, one could spend the whole day enjoying the extravaganza of the fountain display. Return to the ship in the afternoon in time for your departure at 18:00 hrs.

Helsinki is filled with graceful architecture and monuments and surrounded on three sides by sea and tiny islands. Join our optional excursion to explore this beautiful city. After leaving the port you shall drive towards the heart of the city along the coastal road, before arriving in the neoclassical Senate Square. Perched above the square’s wide steps, you will see the domed Lutheran Cathedral. Designed by Carl Ludwig Engel, the square is surrounded by the University, State Council Building and Cathedral. You will continue your tour, passing onto Mannerheim Street, the main thoroughfare of the city, you will see the Parliament House, National Museum and the Finlandia Hall.
Water and green space are never far away in the stylish Swedish capital, built on 14 islands with acres of parks. We suggest that you join the tour leader on an optional half day city tour. Stockholm is a striking city that seems to float on water – part of it is built on 14 islands! It has been likened to Venice, due to its location by the sea, its waterways and bridges. It is dotted with parkland and refined architecture with painted rooftops. The Old Town, with its cobblestone streets, evokes memories of the 18th Century. The ship shall set sail from Stockholm at 16:00 hrs.

Skagen is home to clear waters, and beautiful white sand beaches. Join our optional excursion to Skagen where the first sight will be Skagen Town – a sight not to be found anywhere else in Denmark. Small picturesque Fisherman’s Houses all painted in warm yellow by the danes named ‘Skagen Yellow’ with red roofs and the characteristic white edges. Board the ‘Sandormen’ (Sandworm) tractor pulled bus that brings you to the uttermost point of Denmark and actually of European continent. Here you will see the seas of Skagerrak and Kattegat meet. Continue to the buried church – an old church buried in the sand, where only the upper two thirds of the tower are to be seen.
